Classes & Merch
Paint Class
Periodically, PUMC will schedule a guided group painting class working with Amber from Ariel Inspired, LLC, a local social painting business in Painesville. Classes will be scheduled 4-5 weeks in advance and the design announced at that time. Those who wish to participate in the class sign up in the church office and pay for their session at the time of RSVP. Typically, paint classes on site at PUMC will also include lemonade and light refreshments to sustain painters during their session. Paint classes that have been scheduled are announced through our church email platform. Persons who miss a pre-paid class may make an appointment to visit the Ariel Inspired, LLC studio and pick up their paints to complete their canvas at home. Typically, PUMC offers 2-3 guided paint classes on site per year.
Floral Class
PUMC has teamed up with local business Flowers on Main, and owner Ron Robertson, to bring periodic flower arranging or wreath making classes to the PUMC congregation. Classes are offered 4-5 weeks in advance of the event date and the selected floral option will be shared in the announcement. Those who wish to attend a floral class will RSVP in the Circle Room and payment is due to the church at the time of RSVP. Typically, PUMC will offer lemonade and coffee services during floral classes. Classes take between 60-90 minutes and are worked on at your pace. Those who cannot make it to a paid class may offer their spot to someone else, or materials can be set aside for pickup at a later date. Floral classes are announced through our church email platform.
Rose Window T – Shirts
In 2022, PUMC updated their church shirt to a black cotton tee featuring a Rose Window design on the front with the words “Painesville United Methodist Church”. Typically, ordering is opened up for a few weeks at a time to place a group order in the Spring; limited inventory is kept on hand. If you are interested in ordering a Rose Window t-shirt please contact Maria in the church office.
Sesquicentennial Mugs
In 2023, the Painesville United Methodist Church celebrated its 150th anniversary of our address on the Square! In celebration, we are offering Sesquicentennial mugs featuring our historic Rose Window design for just $10 each. These mugs have a black base and silver imprinted design, also featuring the following text: “Painesville United Methodist Church on the Square since 1873”. Purchases for mugs must be made locally; mugs are not shipped. Checks or cash can be brought to the church office during business hours or on most Sundays after worship services. Checks should be made out to the Painesville United Methodist Church and state “mugs” in the subject line. These mugs are dishwasher safe, however, due to the metallic print, these mugs are not safe for microwave use. Questions? Contact Maria in the church office for more information.
Group Tickets
Periodically, PUMC will plan a group outing with tickets to an event. Past events have included tickets to Rabbit Run Theater in Madison, Ohio, and tickets to Lake County Captains games in Eastlake, Ohio. Group outings are announced through our church email platform; those who would like to sign up for a scheduled event will do so in the Circle Room or by contacting Maria in the church office. Payment is due at the time of reservation booking.
