Annual Concert Series

Upcoming Dates for the 2023-2024 Season

For over two decades here at PUMC, we have offered to the community a Concert Series  featuring many well-known musicians. We have intentionally provided a variety of experiences to appeal to the many different interests of people in this community.  In our Concert Series, we have featured vocalists, choirs, ensembles, instrumentalists, and hand bell choirs. It was the hope of the Edna Cope Quine Family, when they donated the money for the Schantz organ, that our church building would become a place where our lives could be enriched by many talented musicians eager to share their gifts with the community. Under the direction of Tom Trenney in 1997, an annual Concert Series was begun – and has since continued to flourish!

The concerts we offer are underwritten by our patrons and by the free-will offerings that are taken during our performances. If you would like to be a seasonal patron of the Concert Series, please complete the insert in your bulletin (or visit our online giving site) and put it in the collection plate during the concert or stop by the church office during the week.  In addition, you can request to be placed on the email distribution list for upcoming concerts.

If you are looking for a church home, we are pleased to welcome you to either of our Sunday worship services at 8:30 or 10a.m.  We have childcare available in our nursery during our 10a.m. service and offer Sunday School at our 10a.m. service during most of the school year.  If you are unable to join us in person, we invite you to listen to the 10a.m. service on WKKY FM 104.7 radio, or watch us live via our YouTube livestream channel at 10am on Sundays—or as you have time later in the week.  Past services are also available on our YouTube channel if you’d like to get to know us a little bit better as you settle in with the PUMC church family!
